Simple Joys!!!

Clarissa really enjoyed decorating for Christmas. I'm not sure she really understood what was going on, but she liked playing with the decorations.

Our Little Cookie Dunker!

Of course Clarissa is a cookie lover, but the other day she decided to dunk her cookie because she saw us doing it. She would lick the milk off and then dunk again. She's a pro!!!

Thanksgiving

Papa Randy, Isaac, and Theron made us special Thanksgiving hats on Wednesday. We had a fun time celebrating Thanksgiving in Ohio with family.

Clarissa was ready to eat, unfortunately she had to eat in her booster chair and not with the big kids.

Clarissa loved the rocking horse, especially pushing the button on the side that made horsey sounds.

Clarissa had a front row seat as she watched daddy and Papa Randy load up the car to go home.

Our Little Cook

Clarissa's new love is to help cook.

Clarissa loved helping her dad stir, and would scream if he took the spoon away.

She loved it so much that she insisted on helping me cook the next day, but I found it was easier to set her on the floor with her own bowl and spoon, she loved it.

Prarie Farms

We went to Prarie Farms a couple of weeks ago for a visit. We had a great time with the fall activities they had planned for the kids. It was a beautiful day and a great escape from the lab and the house.

Clarissa enjoyed searching for candy in the haystack.

Although clarissa loved the penguin shaped balloon that Mr. Scarecrow made for her, she didn't really like taking a picture with him.

We got to get close to goats, donkeys, and this miniature pony. Clarissa was very interested and hesitant at the same time.

Clarissa and Mom painted a pumpkin.

Our family decided to dress up as a giant smore for Halloween.
Clarissa was the cutest marshmallow and our costumes were the
talk of the party.

One of the activities at our ward party
was a coloring table for the little kids.
Clarissa spent the entire evening coloring,
not even dinner or candy could pull her away.

This is a witch cake that Tiffany decorated for the party. Underneath the skirt of the witch was a cake. Her empty caldron was a delicious spinach dip. Unfortunately we forgot to take a picture until after it was gone and the cake was half eaten, luckily it was the back half of the cake. Underneath the caldron there were pretzel logs and red and yellow peppers to make the fire.

Pumpkins!!!

My mom took me to see some really big pumpkins that someone grew in their garden. My friends Camilla, Jonathan, and Angelique came too. We had a really good time looking at the pumpkins and playing together.
