Grandma Connie's and Grandpa Brent's Visit

My parents came for a visit at the beggining of July. It was so nice to have them come visit again. The last time they came was two summers ago, before Clayton was born.



I only took about 5 pictures from their whole trip, I still need to get the pictures from my dad that he took, so here are some more of the kids in their glasses. We were in the car ready to go to the Zoo.

There's a zoo about 45 minutes away from us. It's very small, but just perfect for the age of our kids.

We also went to an Airforce Museum, which also had different things to look at, not just airplanes.

The kids loved the airplanes, but this horse was the highlight, even though it doesn't work.

We also went to an Amish Town, went swimming, and worked in the garden (thanks Dad), and many other fun things. It was a fun visit, and unfortunately always too short. I hate living far away from grandparents, but we are grateful for the visits we do get.

Sunglasses & Swimming

Clayton and Clarissa both got new sunglasses this summer from Grandma Connie when she came to visit this summer. (I'm still meaning to post about that, but don't have the pictures yet.) They love wearing them, especially Clayton. He has the cutest grin when you first put them on him.


We are lucky enough to have a swimming pool in our complex, which we have used more this summer than last, but not a ton. And it's sad to think it'll be closing in less than a month. Everytime we go, we hop in the wagon, and make our way over to the pool. It's so nice to have, especially when I go by myself with the kids.

They both love swimming, and hate when we have to leave.
